I like this idea. I was actually picturing a Venn Diagram? The areas that overlap in the Venn Diagram would be the “Core doctrines.” Isn’t there a Trinity symbol that is basically a three way Venn Diagram?

With the Trinity, I believe you are thinking of the Celtic crosses and use of the three circles that has recently become more popular. So, in a Venn diagram the middle area shows the things in common. Are you saying circle A would be one Christian, and circle B would be another Christian, and the area joined (in common) are the core doctrines? That could be another interesting way of displaying this, with secondary doctrines of disagreement in the outer part of the “uncommon” or not shared circle. My question would be, what do you think belongs in core doctrines? I have been thinking about my list lately, and need to redo it. Not that anything may have changed, but I think it is a healthy exercise. Thanks for the comment.
